We designed the User Interface for the Sugar Labs activity portal. It was a challenging project that used a fork of Mozilla’s addons.mozilla.org open source tool for managing their add-ons. The Sugar Labs team used it more like an App Store to download free activities for the XO laptop.
The Sugar Labs activity library allows anyone running the Sugar operating system to download educational software and information. We chose to help Sugar Labs because we believe collaborative learning is important and not well represented in the software that’s being made for children.
